Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is a sterile, non-pyrogenic solution containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. It is commonly used in laboratory research settings for the reconstitution of lyophilized peptides prior to experimental use. The preservative allows the solution to be accessed multiple times over a 28-day period under sterile handling conditions.
